Read Device

(Ribbon è Device è Read / Write)

Transfers field data from the radio's codeplug to the CPS application via the selected Communication Method.

Alternately, clicking the Home Mode "Read a Radio" button will transfer a radio's codeplug to the CPS via the selected Communications Method.

	If codeplug data is already loaded into the CPS for the programming session, then the Read Device button is disabled.
	Remember, any changes made to the codeplug data take effect only when the codeplug is saved to a file or written to the radio.
